Welcome to the Lions Club of
Kapiti - Awarded the Top Club Trophy
for 2006
What's New:
Since 1963, our Club has assisted numerous charities and individuals
throughout Lions District 202M and the Kapiti Coast. From our early
years, we have formulated and organised many fund-raising activities
and projects, which has helped to establish and enhance a wide variety of
community facilities on the Coast.
The club's commitment to community service has continued
unabated in our local community. Through the annual Monster Book Fair in
partnership with other local Lions Clubs, we have
helped to raise over $200,000 since Lions took over in 1998. Proceeds
have been distributed to local charities and organisations.
Over the last 40 years the Lions Club of Kapiti has established an
enviable record of community service and achievement. The dedication and
commitment shown by members, past and present, has been inspirational
and highly significant. We are a single gender male club however we pride
ourselves in providing a friendly open environment for our partners and
families.
We are looking forward to continue this tradition and commitment
in the coming years ahead.
